    Megan Racing shifter did not fit properly

    The shifter ball was under size. It measured 1.240" vs the OEM was 1.2595". The shifter moved around in the bushing. The slop caused the shifter to hit the left cable and lever not allowing me to shift into 1st. Megan Racing has not been willing to take it back so far. I installed a 93+ OEM shifter which is about an inch shorter than the 91 and it works great. Relocated the cable about an inch higher to shorten the throw a little more. My throw is now about 4" vs the stock 91 which was about a 5.5" throw.

    Megan SW20 short shifter

    Requires lots on modification to be able to function properly. The arm hits the cables going into 1st and 2nd gear. I had to grind down about half way through the arm to clear the cables and shift smoothly. See attached pictures
