Its so Tiny! Yet so Sensitive!
I purchased the gm300, which has its own battery, but the battery died and i had hours of video with no sound. I bought this mic because it uses the cameras battery and was surprised at how little the microphone drains the GoPro power. I noticed very little difference in battery life, and also the 47" cord can easily be wrapped up to pinned out of the way if you are like me and filming with a head mount, and dont want a cord running down your shirt. Be careful though, the cable and connections dont feel very strong, so try to be gentle with it. Other than that, this mic has AMAZING sound quality. Get the Movo dead cat windscreen and put it over the top of the foam screen provided and you have a perfect audio to go with great GoPro video.I purchased the gm300, which has its own battery, but the battery died and i had hours of video with no sound.
