The Last Of The Great ZZ Top Albums.

The raw recording era of ZZ Top albums are the trio at the top. Something was lacking when they started recording independent of each other, and gone altogether when music television came along. But Deguello is the last of a sound that makes ZZ Top’s music some of the best of the 70’s and today. From First Album’s Somebody Else Been Shakin’ Your Tree straight through to Deguello’s Esther Be The One, and every smoking hot song in between, marks a satisfied completion of my personal ZZ Top mix. Music so good I had to holler for help!

    • Z Top Z

The boys know what gets your blood pumping & your feet tapping. Good ol Texas boogie Woogie with a sound all their own. Their musical hits will be entertaining folks that like rock n roll for years!

    • Deguello the Blues

This Album went Platinum for ZZ Top. CD is in outstanding shape. The Album Cover is my favorite ZZ Top Album Cover design. I liked it so much I bought a ZZ Top Deguello T Shirt. The Songs are outstanding on this CD.

    • Deguello by ZZ Top is one of the best rock/blues albums

I am 43 and have been listening to this album since I was 15. Most of these songs don't sound like the more recent ZZ Top. Dust My Broom totally rocks....there is nothing better. Or listen to "She Don't Love me She Loves My Automobile".........If you like blues/rock, you will love this CD. Many peoople don't know about it. Only us "old school" wild people!! Also, it's great biker party music. I had to get another CD since I keep wearing them out!......Thanks, Danielle

    • ZZ (at the) Top

This is ZZ Top at their very best.I'm a "dyed in the wool" fan, and as such, I had to have this one. It was recorded back in 1979, and I hadn't heard some of it since then. It thrills me still. This one has a healthy dose of Texas blues and boogie, but also has a couple of tunes that seem to defy categorization. "Manic Mechanic" is cool in an odd kinda way, and prepare to be haunted by "Esther be the one". Another fine timeless work by "That little ol' band from Texas".....
