I was shocked at how the quality of this item had declined since my last purchase, years ago. The match stems are about a third of the thickness they used to be, feel like thin pieces of paper, and burn super fast! I burned my finger the first time I used one because the previous matches burned much more slowly. It takes several attempts to light each match, and I have resorted to using a lighter to light them.
