    Corinne Bailey Rae Is Hot! Hot! Hot!

    This CD is like a breath of fresh air. In todays times there is so much music that's being published that isn't even worth listening to. However, you will not be disappointed with this CD if you are a person that is gasping for fresh air when it somes to music. In passing past the TV while my kids were looking at music videos, they played the song Like a Star and I had to do a double take. Considering the fact that I normally don't watch music videos, there was something about this video and song that captured my attention to the point that I sat down, watched and listened to the video. In fact, I have DVR which is much like Tivo which allows me to rewind and replay programs---well that's what I did for this video by Corinne Bailey Rae. After that I was hooked and knew ...

    Love it, Love it, Love it!

    I am already a neo soul jazzy kind of girl but this CD just makes me even more of a fan. When I first saw her on "The View" I knew I had to have it because she has raw talent not studio talent. When I purchased the CD I was blown away from the first song "like a star" then "Enchantment" just made me want to listen to the CD everyday. All I can say is...take it from a music lover...I've been listening to music for 16 years or more...and this is another great one to add to the collection.

    loving it

    I first saw the live sessions online and thought how wonderful the music sounded. Once I purchased the CD I was in love. the music is great and different from the mainstream. the different instruments make one realize their uniquiness and how wonderful their contribution to the song overall is. I would recomend this CD to anyone wanting a break from the mainstream and wanting to appericate real a real voice with real instruments.

    Corinne Bailey Rae - A Voice Full of Soul

    Another Top pick. From the first note to the last, Rae's voice is pure and soulful. It is hard to believe that she is so young. The music is certainly ageless. I'm reminded of Sade with a hint of Macie Gray. Put Your Records On may be the hit single (and it is a great song), but this album has MUCH more to offer. A true pleasure.
