      If you are seeking a pattern book with fairytale characters and nursery-rhyme creatures, this is not the book for you. The author has created a collection of designs that fit into a more sophisticated form of home décor and accessories. The wall hangings and pillows are not geared to the nursery; they are done in classic, neutral shades (black, white, beige, greys) that will both modern and traditional décor. (If an interior designer were to design a line of needlework projects, this would be the result.) Not all the projects are for the home; there is also a bookmark, a set of wearable buttons, a pencil case and a needle book, which could be adapted to make a very elegant book cover.
