    Suprised by how much I enjoy this album

    Pink is far from my typical genre. I don't do pop or top 20, and there are very few female vocalists I enjoy. However, after hearing So What out at a bar one night, I decided to check out the entire album. The rest of the album isn't as adrenaline packed, but still solid. I was especially suprised by how much I could associate with the lyrics. My only complaint is how the mood flows thru the album. It'll jump from a rowdy drinking song to a melancholy love song. So I just had to copy the songs into some of my various play lists. That might just be me though, maybe you like that constant pace change.

    Gotta love Pink

    As she gets older her voice is getting richer and more amazing. Pink is an artist that makes any song better. She brings an exhuberance that's quite special in any performer. If you don't start tapping your fingers hand or foot to these songs, you're already dead. In this album she is a contrast, somwhere between the sneering rocker that Joan Jett embodies, but mellowed by the sweet, almost shy, yet driving, gritty soul of Janis Joplin. So what immediately jumps to the top of the all time great break-up songs, while, Please don't leave me, will have people singing this song about their lost loves for a long time to come. We've been waiting for quite a while for this album, and it doesn't fail to justify the wait. You go girl.

    Not another pretty face, but what songs

    Bought this to get just the one song, " Please don't leave me ". It's a good buy for just that song, but there are three others worth listening to as well. Buy it for the individual songs you like and you'll probably be satisfied. Buy it for the album in it's entirety, you'll most likely not be.

    Watch out for radio versions of CD

    My favorite CD! I listen to it over and over. Wish I had paid better attention to the fact that this was a radio-won CD which explains why it is the radio versions of a couple songs (cleaned up language). Wish I had the correct version, which I did but listened to so much it got scratched and skips.
