    Xeon X5570 CPU

    If you have a pre C2 HP Z600 a dual X5570 set up is the fastest single or dual CPU option you can have. At $50 for a pair of X5570's its a big performance upgrade to my single X5550 system its a very cost effective upgrade. Since I needed a 2nd heat sink/fan I bought a new intel I7 extreme heat sink on Ebay for 25$. The equivalent HP units used are less efficient and cost twice as much if you can find one for sale.
