    More Fountains = More Fun

    If you've never listened to Fountains of Wayne before, get their proper studio albums first. They're more polished and are loaded with classic pop-rock jams. However, if you've already become a fan of the group, get this album. Most band's b-sides are just that -- throwaways not good enough to make it on anybody's album. But FOW are such gifted songwriters that the stuff that doesn't make the cut (which is everything on this 2-disc set) is catchier and more fun than most bands are on their a-sides. Schlesinger and company know how to write a hook like none other in the business, and there's no dearth of tunes that will leave you whistling along among this collection. A must-have for any FOW fan who already has their three main albums but is hungry ...

    Great Leftovers

    Excellent double disc of rarities and B-sides. In my opinion a lot better than reviews have described the product. Not as consistently good as any of their proper albums. But if you like Fountains of Wayne then you will need to look into this collection. Straight Up!

    Better Than Anticipated

    I initially thought this album was going to be "just ok", being it was of unreleased songs, and B sides. Though, upon listening to it I found myself once again drawn to it's lyrics, vocals, harmonies, and overall sustenance, listening to it frequently. Good work once again FOW!

    Out-of-State Plates by Fountains Of Wayne

    Great stuff from one of the most original trios still around. Mostly B-sides and a cover of an ols ELO tune, but all great pop tunes that make you want to put on some sunblock, get in your Subaru and go to Janice's party.
