Good fit and construction--great value
This bracket is well worth the money and much handier than a normal quick release shoe. I like the fact that it feels part of the camera and does not cause it to tilt when I set it down. The bracket has a very good fit and leaves everything accessible, with the exception of the port cover for the headphone and microphone jacks. You have to use a small screwdriver or other tool to pop that cover open--it's just too tight to get your fingernail on it at the right angle. But for me, that's not a panel I seldom access, so not a problem. The design is excellent--it fits my A7II perfectly and feels part of the camera. Mounting on my tripod is fast and easy. The only thing it lacks over my Oben quick release plate are some safety pins on the bottom to prevent the shoe from accidentally releasing ... I also like that the side panel for vertical mounting is independently removable and there's a separate 1/4" thread mount on the bottom of the plate near center for connecting a different style quick release show, sling strap, flash bracket, etc. My only dig is that I wish the side plate didn't have the cut out for the USB and HDMI jacks since that greatly limits the side to side adjustment when mounting in vertical format. But that's a small issue. Overall this bracket is an excellent value. and

Good with one flaw
It fit tightly and neatly and doesn't scratch the bottom of the camera. There is a little flaw: the door of covering the headphone/mic ports cannot easily be opened when the brakcet is attached. I use a thin plastic pin to push it open from top. I wished the arca swiss groove on the side of the camera had been made longer just like the bottom one, giving more room for shifting the camera while installed vertically (to make sure it is being securely inserted on the clamp). This helps when shooting panormas and needing to make sure the lens central axis is right above the clamp.It fit tightly and neatly and doesn't scratch the bottom of the camera. Great Value, solid performer
Nicely made, fits my A7ii perfectly. Its very solid and gives me a lot of confidence. It adds just enough on the bottom for my little finger to rest on since I have large hands.I leave it on all the time. Having it on, I can set the camera down and it will sit on the bottom instead of resting partly on the lens.
