    Man vs Machine

    We bought this replacement because the OEM dispenser/crusher in the ice hopper began a rapid process of self destruction about two years past new. It began including chunks of its internal plastic mechanism the size of Frito dipping chips along with the ice. The "technician" who came out for a look poked around the machinery and then observed, "Your ice is too hard." He recommended we turn up the freezer temp as a solution. Mercifully, his cell rang and he was suddenly off to wage another epic man vs machine contest with another predictable outcome.

    I have ice again

    I ordered the product, I received the product and I installed the product. Veni vidi vici. Fantastic. I have ice again from the refrigerator. How great is that? Think things could be better? Ever want to live like one of the Pharaohs of old? Did they have ice on demand. No they didn't. But I do.
