great kit to give new life
Very glad I bought this kit. My compressor is actually quieter and builds pressure much quicker now. The reason I bought it was because my old connecting rod broke. If I knew the difference it would make I would have bought this kit anyway!! Comes with every thing you need which is nice also.

o-ring too big
the round o-ring was way to large for my compressor. this was the same as reported by the youtube video that showed how to repair it. I had to cut the round o-ring, and fit it, then use gasket maker to fit it together All other parts were good.

Clear and with part # kk-4835 making it easy to find.
I had previously ordered a sleeve and ring kit from a different seller. While waiting for them a rod broke. I ordered this kit but only needed the rod. When it arrived l noticed the sleeve and piston ring were of far better quality than the first set. I immediately ordered another so both cylinders were the same. These rods do fit on twin cylinder oil free pumps by removing your old bearing and installing on new rod. Excellent product. Was a little expensive with the shipping, but overall cheaper than buying new compressor. I had previously ordered a sleeve and ring kit from a different seller. While waiting for them a rod broke. New piston and cylinder kit
Good directions and easy to do. I thought I would need to throw the compressor away and get a new one. But the motor and tank were still good and so I took a chance on rebuilding the cylinder, piston, connecting rod and head gaskets and now it runs like new again. Saved me a bundle and only took about an hour to complete.

Good price and it works perfectly
I have an old (1987 ??) Craftsman compressor that is impossible to find parts. This cylinder fit perfectly and my old compressor runs like new. I would recommend this part and I would buy it again, but I won't need too, this part will outlive me.
