Great little Stereo Microscope
I purchased this because I had a surface mount board that had a questionable solder joint. I used a USB microscope camera but it didn't give me enough detail. This stereo microscope worked great and I could see that there was some silk screen paint on the leads that was causing me concern. Great microscope for the price.

Excelent tool for a small repair shop.
Excellent product! I was looking for something light, but reliable I can use in my repair van to solder electronic PCBs. This product fits perfectly, it is light, comfortable to use, optics are clear and transparent everywhere, no blur edges or cracks. Easy to focus and adjust for the eyes with glasses and with out. Surprisingly light weight. I got this along with the AOMEKIE AO1019 model. And this one AO1001 beats it hands down, this is far more superior model. P.S. Both models have interchangeable eye magnification pieces. Excellent product! I was looking for something light, but reliable I can use in my repair van to solder electronic PCBs. A-OK, with reservations
The eyepieces and the "eye cup" both fall off VERY EASILY! I used RTV adhesive to glue the optical eyepieces into place, so they would not fall out (again). I also used RTV to adhere the rubber eye-pieces to the optics. Now, all is secure. I WISH that the main support would TILT! I may make up a tilt-table, so that I do not have to stand up to use the microscope, which would be SO MUCH better. As it is I now must STAND, as I use the unit. If it would TILT, I could remain seated when I use this device. The microscope works well enough for the price, so it is a good value. -Mike-The eyepieces and the "eye cup" both fall off VERY EASILY!
