    Simply Primitive by Pat Cross

    I purchased this book after initially buying Pat's first book, Purely Primitive. Her writing style is friendly and casual which is important when a person is learning what might appear at first to be an intimidating craft. Instead it was interesting, relaxing and fun! The photos in both books are beautiful and inspiring and I was very satisfied with both purchases. I try not to buy too many books - I used to and became disappointed at fantastically photographed covers but not much in the way of substance on the inside. Both of these volumes, I must say, were a pleasant suprise in that respect.

    Simply Primitive rug hooking, punchneedle and needle felting

    This is a very well written and informative rug hooking, punchneedle and needle felting book. The samples and patterns are beautiful and fun. This book is a good teaching guide and is a wonderful addition to my crafting reference.

    Cover caught my eye. Looks like it would be fun to do.

    I bought over the internet. Always iffy because we are not able to review the inside projects as one would in a store. I see several projects in the book that I would like to do. So, it's worth the cost of the book if I can usually find more than 1 or 2 projects that I'm interested in.
