      Great little device

Great little device. Different to a looper. Great for creating background washes of tonal color on-the-fly. If you got adept at it, you could use it to great effect in live performance. Personally, I use it to practice scales and arpeggios. Very effective and easy to use. I don't know how different or similar the electronics are, but it would be great to see this device combined with a looper. They're similar in concept. An extra stomp switch combination, and you could be looping, not just freezing. Not a criticism. Just a suggestion.

      One Trick Pedal but fun

Kinda cool. It does what it says it sustains the one sound until you either release the button or step on it again. Depends on which mode you want to use. Cool for like a pad sound for background while you jam by yourself. I’d imagine for the shoe gaze and ambient players this thing would be useful. To sum up it’s a one trick pony kinda pedal BUT cool for experimenting with.

    • It's great for what it does if that's what you need!

I got on to this pedal from a Rick Beato video. He recommended it as a tool for working out scales and improvisations on chords. You hit a chord on the guitar, freeze it, and then play your scale or improvisation over it. You can kind of do the same thing with a looper, but it's more complicated. The Freeze does this well and effortlessly. In playing live or recording, you could also use the pedal for laying down a pad. This is a fun and enjoyable pedal, but it's pretty specialized.

    • Stylish, compact, lightweight

It takes a bit of time to understand when you should press the button. Best suited the moment immediately after you take the whole chord with your right hand. Then you freeze gives you a rich subharmonic sounds. In my opinion the price is a little bit high for a single sound effect. But it still a great pedal. And furthermore is a very useful. Thanks to inventors and developers. Cheers!

    • A great practice tool.

I bought mine specifically as a practice tool, but have played with it a bit and it is also usable to create beatutiful music. I hit a chored on my Bass and explore the modes. It's great that it comes with the AC Wall wart. I highly recommend this pedal
