Squeeze the two halves of the case together to clamp the cable - not entirely effective as the cable is not gripped tightly enough. The case mouldings do not click into place so there is the possibility they may separate a bit and allow the calbe to become loose. The problem here is that there were no pictures of the inside of the switch. Other than (all) that, they do work.
