    For EARLY 2009 MacMini3.1s ONLY

    It is the early MacMini3,1s which have a true Socket 7 motherboard ... all the later ones have a soldered-in CPU and are NOT UPGRADEABLE. Hence, I was unable to install or test this CPU, although its greatly increased speed and twice as much cache, all with only a very few watts increase in TDP, WOULD HAVE been an exceptional upgrade, IF it was actually possible in my case.
