The acoustic overtone grommets are little rubber inserts that fit between each set of two strings below the bridge on a mandolin. They have the effect of dampening the extraneous sound vibrations inherent to the instrument, thereby "cleaning up" the overall sound. These items are seldom stocked by your neighborhood music shop, so to find them here was a blessing. The folks at smyrnagc are on top of their game, mailing these jewels the same day the sale is completed. Definitely an A++ seller!

Item was a bit late on arrival but did eventually turn up. Did contact seller via eBay and got immediate response, which in fairness as he put it can't control the post! Asked to leave it until tomorrow (3 days as per Ebay to resolve) Seller did contact again with me next day to see if i had received and it had literally arrived a few minutes before. Just responded to advise him I'd received. Looks as per description and will be applying to my mandolin very soon! Thanks Hal !
