    The Best Film Sherlock!

    There is a reason why we keep printing, filming, reading and watching Sherlock Holmes... these are fantastic stories! I have thoroughly enjoyed most every incarnation of Holmes and Watson, but Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce truly embody Conan Doyle's characters! These films, from 1939 through 1946 are wonderful and thanks to UCLA Film and Television Archive, they have been beautifully restored on DVD. I will jump at the chance to watch any version of Holmes and Watson, but these are the films I will watch over and over. I am so pleased to finally own them all!
