    Good Transfer of a Martial Arts Classic

    This movie is a lot of fun. Great footage of many now-deceased luminaries of Japanese martial arts. The narration is cheesy, but weirdly charming. Also, the landscape shots are really nice. This DVD transfer is excellent and the audio has been cleaned up significantly. The colors of the video really "pop." If you grew up watching movies like this, you probably only saw it streaming from Youtube in poor quality or from degraded VHS. Nice to see groups saving weird little gems like this.

    Best EVER!

    If a person wanted to discover actual Japanese martial arts this is the film to watch. This DVD is a must have for a martial artist collection. For the novice is demonstrates human performances at unbelievable levels. Many of the Martial artist in the film have passed on. It is a unique view of the true Martial arts world, one without special effects and wires.

    BUDO - THE ART OF KILLING

    Great documentary on the different martial arts of Japan. Excellently done and the commentary does a lot for the movie. It explains in great detail why people practice Martial Arts and the focus that is needed.

More to explore:
