    Excellent Bargain

    The server is an excellent value! I received it in great working order, in a well-packed/well-padded box. It came complete with power cords (which I wasn't expecting and actually went and bought four of my own), was extremely clean (near factory new) with all devices updated to the most recent firmware. I had a single issue (where the FWBC contained 512MB versus the 1GB listed) but the system had double the RAM listed (256GB versus 128GB) but I'm happy with the trade (YMMV). Contacted the seller - with no desire to return the unit as I was happy with it as it stood - but wanted to make sure their inventory was up-to-date with the error - and they were extremely responsive and ensured I was satisfied. If I'm ever in the market for another server, i would definitely buy from them ...

    Great value

    Server came well packed and worked out-of-the-box. The DL580 G7 is in the HCL for VMware ESX 6.0, so it's perfect for virtualization setups without breaking the bank. Replaced SAS drives with SSDs using the same trays (much faster now). It's not as loud as most of the servers we have at work. Loved it, so I bought another...

    Great chonk of a server!

    Great server! had it for a little while now, so I believe I can start reviewing it. I've never had an issue with it, and it handles great with multiple loads at the same time. One thing you should note is that these servers are NOT quiet, I didn't expect them to, but man are they loud.

    If you know what a DL580 or DL585 is, you know they ain't gonna be quiet.

    If you know what a DL580 or DL585 is, you know they ain't gonna be quiet. These things sound like a 747 at take-off but they are workhorses. In my case, they are being installed in a network closet with sufficient sound proofing.
