About this product

Product Information

An assassin--inhuman, deadly, perverse, and hired by her husband--stalks Judith through the streets of New York. The man she once loved saves her from death only to plunge them both into an adventure as vast as imagination itself. Clive Barker's Imajica is the magical tale of ill-fated lovers lost among worlds teetering on the edge of destruction where their passion holds the key to escape.

  • Imajica by Clive Barker Epic Masterpiece

Clive Barker in a interview said of Imajica "This book guides the reader through the interrelated levels of reality. It's a map to the HELLRAISER mythos" After I read Imajica for the third time, I realized how that in the first time around its might be easy to become confused or at least miss the greater point of the story. Many who read and liked Barker's early horror work might find this book a bit to weird. You are dropped into a stew of strange characters, and scapes. it begins with the main protagonists, strange beings that haunt the streets of London. The book is full of characters, and seperate quests will take them into strange lands, traveling the four dominions connected, that are broken from the fifth. The earth being the fifth Dominion. The Imajica, the five dominions. It ...

  • Clive Barker's best!

About fifteen years ago I started to buy Clive Barker's books since he was a genre follower of Stephen King and Peter Straub. Barker is definitely one of my favorite authors (only Stephen Donaldson and Robertson Davies are comparable), I have all his books, this year I've also bought all his books in hardback 1st editions, Imajica the last one. It was abóut 10 years since I read Imajica, my favorite Barker title, last time and this summer I have the opportunity to read it again, hardback, the way it was meant to be read. For any book lover dispite what genre you like, read Imajica! /closeedge Sweden
