    Hello Nasty: WHERE YOU BEEN?!

    It's time you brought the grimy beats out tha dungeon! Really... where would hip-hop be today without the one of a kind chops of these true originals? When you first hear this album, you'll know that something has changed. The boys are pieced together differently. This music is so well mixed that they must have spent millions on it. But in reality, the Beastie Boys were just kickin' it live the whole time, thinking nothing of perfection because it's inherent within what they produce. Sure, earlier albums have kissed the borders of... well lets face it,... cheesy or childish. The Beastie boys have corrected this in Hello Nasty. Amid the astro-party funk atmosphere lies serious tracks about humanity and greed. The robotic pulse of 'Intergalactic' ...

    CD Review

    The Beastie Boys are artists. Hello Nasty contains some of the most colorful of their lyrics in addition to their original music and sampling. Like most rappers they are guilty of re-using their own lyrics/riffs. Other comical highlights include their tendancy to introduce themselves in every song just in case you forget who you are listening to. Excellent CD, if a fan you need to add to your collection.

    this album is great, reminds me of star trek, coolio

    ok this album is "out there" very creative with the sounds and album art to put itself out there. intergalactic is my favorite track from this album and the reason the purchase but it does have other good tracks. it's hard to believe this album is almost 15 years old.
