When we discovered Rick Steve's Europe we instantly loved it. Very pretty to look at. Informative without feeling like you are being lectured and very entertaining. You can actually watch multiple times and still hear and see something you hadn't before. I do understand why they group the shows together instead of seasons by locations. This is an informative travel log with helpful hints and how to's and people do want to learn more about a location they are going to so having them all grouped together on one or two discs is convenient and smart. But in all reality I will probably never have that opportunity so watching an entire disc uninterrupted about Italy some information gets redundant. I am 91 years old, and can not walk much anymore, I used to travel the world over. So, this is the way I travel now. I have all of Rick Steves Publications, They are simply the best. I also have other ageografic DVD,S , BUT sTEVES ARE THE BEST. i THINK THE WORLD OF HIM, i THINK HE SHOULD BE NOMInated for the Nobel Prize, he has done more for nations understanding and peace than anyone else I know. I watch his DVD,s every night, that is how I get to know the rest of the world, aspecially Europa. I was born and raised in Germany, and lived in Germany till I was 21 years old, been in the United States since 1952. Yes, I love his narations.
