About this product

Product Information

Following the success of 1998's PC version, the multi-game compilation Intellivision Lives! makes its Xbox debut with more than 50 playable titles originally designed for Mattel's classic console. Rather than simply choose games from a list, players can navigate their way across a 3D pizza parlor filled with icons of the 1980s, including neon signs, a jukebox that plays Intellivision music as well as a number of arcade cabinets lining the walls. Each cabinet houses a different genre, such as space, sports, and more, with the coin-op game's screen serving as the interface. Developer Realtime Associates, which produced original INTV Corp. titles during the waning years of the console, designed the emulation software used to re-create the games on Xbox. The process for creating the compilation was overseen by Intellivision Productions' own Keith Robinson and Stephen Roney, who ensured each emulated title mirrored the originals as closely as possible.

  • Great retro games. Took me back to when I was a kid.

Intellivision Lives worked great on Xbox 360 and Techno Classic worked after changing to 480p. Techno Classic will not run on 360 unless you change xbox to 480p.

  • My brother Loves it! Great for Pixel and Retro Fans!

This is extremely great my brother loves it and will always inform me something about it. One of the best things bought with lots of games to play! Would recommend to anyone who likes pixel games and retro games.

  • Do you remember when...

I got this game for 1 reason only... "The Memory's" I did not have an Intellivision system but my friend did. Much different then the Atari which was what I had. So much has changes since then. I also got the Atari Anthology, for the same reason.

  • Not that good...

The games have alot of promise, but the controls have not been adequately adapted for some of the more control intensive games. It's an OK walk through time, but without effective controls it hard to give a good review.

  • not too good

pretty brutal. i thought i would get minimal enjoyment, but does not deliver. need the original intellivision controller to really enjoy.
