    good single core unit for old socket 478 boards

    Solid little CPU from a solid seller - perfect for those old 478 cases and has enough grunt for most day to day stuff. The postives are they are now a really cheap way to upgrade old boards that are not HT capable. There are any real negatives (considering the age and technology level of the item)

    Replacement processor

    A friend of mine explained that his computer wouldn't come on so I loked at it and amongst several other things which could have gone wrong, it looked like the processor had died. I stuck my head out a little replacing the processor but when it arrived and I fitted it, the computer came on immediately. This one purchase has made a friend of mine very happy. Frank johnson

    I bought it because mine was broke why else would you buy something like this,this seems to be ridiculas asking a question like this on this type of product

    2nd Hand Processer

    The purchase was to replace my old and tried processor, which I could not afford when it first came out (Cost £200). After only a few years, this second hand processor was £20, bargain. I was pleased with the purchase as the processor was working fine and it had done the job I wanted.

    Great value for money

    I bought this to upgrade and make my computer work faster and it does the job. I could see a slice diffrence in the computer booting. I like Intel compare to other processor.
