    Looks like my proto type is a real one.

    After reading this book I was glad to see a photo of the dark blue Alive55 with the painted flames and Chevy on 1 side.I have 1 with tampos on both sides & a hole in the base like later alive55s. The tampos are slightly crooked which I believe is why Leffingwell used a painted one in photo For his "35 yrs. of hot wheels" book.I also have a classic Nomad in enamel Yellow w/white top, Which I believe is also a prototype. And last I have a Red Open vent hood Mustang w/red interior.Not a prototype but a rare gem from my childhood. Finding this book, For me shows a place to see what we really haveand wherwe they came from .
