Not all Power supplies are created equal
If you've lost the AC/DC power supply transformer to one of your electronic devices, and are looking for a replacement, you want the replacement to conform to the power requirements specified for the device. Ideally, you would be able to find the model number of the original power supply, and find an exact OEM replacement. If you can't find the original model number, or if the original part is no longer being manufactured, You need to match the voltage and amperage specifications for the device. You will also need to match the polarity of the connector plug (i.e., is the center pin of the connector the positive or negative terminal). AC/DC power supplies are available in hundreds of voltage/amperage permutations and style/size variations. The connector plugs also come in a variety of ...
