Product Information

Pure is an off-road racing title featuring ATVs and fast-paced, arcade-style action. The object isn't merely to cross the finish line before your 15 opponents, but to perform a variety of flashy stunts while hurtling down mountains, leaping off cliffs, and motoring across rugged terrain. A three-tier trick system (basic, advanced, and pro) is initiated simply by tapping one of the controller's face buttons, with the analog stick used to modify or tweak each acrobatic feat. As with titles in the SSX series, performing tricks in Pure fills a boost meter that lets you travel at high speeds in short bursts or in one extended stretch. Multiple characters are available to race in a choice of real-world locales, including Ocotillo Wells, Lake Garda, Sandy Mountain, and Timber Falls. Up to 16 players can compete online in an assortment of competitive challenges.

    A great racing game!

    For anyone who loves the ATV Offroad Fury series of games you will at the very least really like this game. The only place that Pure is not quite as good as Fury is that it isn't as realistic in the handling. Pure is very forgiving as far as wrecks go. That being said it is far better in every other category. The scenery is spectacular and very realistic. The jumps are ridiculously huge, but make for a very entertaining time. This game heavily relies on you performing tricks to stay competitive. Your four wheeler is also completely customizable from the frame up. Overall this is a great game. It is single player though unless you race online.

    pure PS3

    This game is good, the customization for the vehicles is GREAT! We all really enjoyed building different ATV's. It has awesome graphics and it is fun to play. But, the game itself does get repetitive. It is true that the difficulty level gets harder as you go along, but it is all repetitive and there will be times you feel almost as if you're just going around in circles doing the same thing over and over again. Overall this is a fun game to play with a group of friends. You just wouldn't want to invest too much time in it.

    Motorstorm meets Tony Hawk

    PROS: Solid driving system and easy to pick up. Thrilling races. Over the top cool tricks. Really nice animations. Excellent camera angles. Beautiful Graphics (better then GRID). Gorgeous scenarios (specially the vertical panoramas while in mid air). Physics engine. Competitive AI. Lots of upgrades that actually help you a lot. Replay value. Just fun to play solo or online. CONS: Not as many tricks as you might expect, but its OK. Some other game modes would have been nice, but the basic ones do the trick. Overall Thoughts: As the name suggests this is game is PURE racing, PURE thrill, PURE over the top fun! It is incredibly easy to pick up and if you've played "Motorostorm" and "Tony Hawk PS" or "Skate" you'll feel just like home. This is for me the best ATV racing game ever made and ...

    pure game for PS3

    this game has lots of cool tricks u can do. The graphics are very good for this game. The game has lots of customization options. This game is easy and challenging at times. I would recommend this game to people who like fast paced racing on atv's. I bought it because its cheap but its a great game! i don't like it when u can't ever get first place on a hard track but u try ur best.
