This third chapter in EgoSoft's space combat simulation series casts players as ace pilots who continue through the story arc of an overwhelmed defensive fleet under constant attack from an invading force. As the presence of a mysterious third, threatening race becomes known, the plot thickens. New features in X3: Reunion include graphical enhancements and improved artificial intelligence, which allows NPCs to behave as more realistic traders and causes computer-controlled colonies to develop factories, bringing more realistic sophistication to the game's virtual economy.

    X3:Reunion: An excellent Space Simulator

    Anyone' who's had trouble finding a good space-simulator of late might want to take a look at X3. This is the third is the series and provides hours(and hours) of interesting missions with a fairly good story. The best aspect of the game however,is not so much the story, but rather the huge open-ended galaxy you can travel.And its a very impressive looking galaxy from a graphical standpoint; Beautiful planets,space stations,stars are not in short supply. On the down-side you'll want to load the patches before you begin play.The game does have a history of bugs. Fortunately,there are patches available and mods to fix most of your problems.And if you have any questions there is plenty of support on the official forums. So while the game does have a few problems, I would still recommend it ...

    X3 Reunion

    I guess this game is break through in Space simulators. Beautiful 3d graphic and nice full of life game space is a new level of Space Sims. I think to reach level of X3 other games should offer gamer same or better gameplay and graphic. This is nice game it can capture attention for many hours. Keep in mind, that game is economical simulator, so u can build you space empire too, not only fight with enemies. There is a story line, that player can follow. You can complete quests and task to keep going over story line. Some tasks are boring some interesting. But there is no need to follow story line, player just can start to play by his own story line to build his own galaxy empire! ;)

    Great open ended game with lots of possiblities i.e. Pirate, Merc, Trader.

    Nice game. A little difficult to learn to play but a very good online community supports it. The manual says to do the tutorial, but there isn't really a tutorial, there is a main plotline of missions that help you learn how to play. I'd recommend you consult the online community there are a ton of online tutorials to help you start earning money to buy necessary upgrades. If you liked Privateer or Freelancer you'll like X3 Reunion. You don't ever have to finish the main plotline to enjoy the game.
