    "s" slim == smaller battery

    Amazing laptop for the money. Faster than my company issued T430. Never thought I'd need anything larger than 1280x800 on 14" but 1600x900 is the perfect resolution. "s" is much thinner and lighter than the T410, T420, T430 All ports spread out nicely across entire back side except headphone and 1 USB (out of 3 total) -- so rarely need dock. Love that as compared to T410 with all ports very close together on the left side (mouse, USB drive, keyboard is crowded) Since battery is underneath on "s" this limits your battery options. You cannot get monster 9-cell as with T410, T420. You can opt for the more expensive slice that takes up docking port underneath, but as stated all ports are on the back so this is an easy trade off and you probably aren't interested in lugging a dock if you need ...
