  • Technical Tupolev.

The book is an accurate listing of the Tupolev bomber, with many details of the changes and use of the plane. It gives insight into the problems of the Soviets had with lacking power plants of sufficient power, and reliability. Also their lack of quality control and adequate administrators, who would have been able to point out what was needed to fix the issues with the planes performance and reliability, except for the harsh government leadership with did not tolerate dissent. It is amazing that there was any activity and action taken with the bomber, since it seemed to have no support. It was throw in stop gap carelessness to the slaughter.
