    One of the top 3 cat books I have found!

    507 pages that share Anitra's over 40 years of experience with cats. She educates you on optimum cat guardianship and shows that it is possible to turn your aging cats health around: Page 298, Anitra tells the story of a 15 year old cat with Kidney disease, was anorexic, dehydrated, constipated and stiff in the joints. Under Anitra's care the cat was put on a raw food kidney diet and received subcutaneous fluids. The cat made a recovery and lived 6 more years.

    I've read this book over and over again. Her suggestions for cat care are based in her own experience as well as in her close relationship to veterinarians. Great tips for feeding your cat healthy food. This book is a cat encyclopedia - and entertaining too.

    Required reading for every pawrent

    There is a ton of practical and detailed info in this book. Some of Ms. Frazier's recommendations can be a bit labor-intensive for those of us balancing the demands of career, home, and feline care, but the info is good to have, nonetheless. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with this book.
