vincent is worth the price
This is the excellent sequel to "the abominable dr phibes" and like the first one it is great character driven horror with lots of ghoulish deaths to appease the need for a good popcorn horror movie loving fan. Vincent Price was a world class cook and a world class actor as well. And he adds class to this production that was not a large budget movie. But few horror movies were back then. Even so dr phibes deserves to be a horror icon for his diabolical deeds and sure determination to carry out his evil plans. I bought the first movie and was glad to see this one was put on dvd as well. This is part of the midnight madness movie series and they at least attempt to find the best prints available and do a good job of mastering the print for dvd. And that makes this a good buy for fans ... Dr phibes rises again DVD
This is an awesome sequel to abominable Dr phibes. Acting good all around, only weak link is female that played vulnavia in this 1, actress that portrayed her in original was pregnant & so couldn't be in this 1. Vincent again plays part for all he's worth. Robert QUARry makes good foil . Definitely 5 stars!!!
