    Good tutorial

    This book is thorough and makes sewing for difficult figures seem as doable as sewing for those with more normal measurements, in more normal places. I have different body challenges than others, but now it seems broken down into smaller pieces so I am not so intimidated. Mary

    Good guide to fitting, upbeat attitude helpful

    I have been sewing more and realizing I need some specific help for my now-middle-aged body that doesn't conform so much to standard sizes anymore. This guide gives rah rah pep talks about accepting your shape and size, and then fitting to it. The book earned the price by the author's statement that she's tried the computerized pattern software of moderate price, and they stink. I have toyed with the idea of dropping $150-300 to get a perfectly customized pattern, now I won't.

    Great book!!!

    I love the conversational style of this book. It makes it very easy to read. The book is to the point and I don't feel like I have to read through a bunch of information I don't need to get to what I want to know. It is easy to understand and the illistations are excelent. This Lady knows what she is talking about. Her clothes fit her models perfectly. I am excited to sew from a pattern again for the first time since my weight had fluctuated. I am confident that with the information in this book I will be able to sew professional looking clothing.

    Its a great addition to your crafty section on your bookcase!.... People will always be different sizes, ands its great to have a reference for more than the normal size... of a size 10!... people need to be able to change things up!...

    This is the bible for plus size females

    I got my original intro to this book from my local library. I am a beginner at sewing. Worse I am a super plus woman. Patterns for me are hard to come by. I have several dress patterns for my self that I could not sew with out some serious alterations to the patterns this book was a god send with it and a little help from my Mom and aunts I was able to make several out fits for my self and my Mom and my daughter. Now I own my own copy so I can sew 24/7. This is now a god send for my budget to.
