Item does not appear to be new in that box looks very old, bottle also looks very old like it had been in storage for a while. The silver seal on the top was removed and there is a rusty hue just inside the neck of the bottle-but the liquid is clear. It was indeed full, but definitely not "new". Through no fault of the seller, it is not the same formula as the older versions of the same cleanser.
