    If you are fan of super-heroes then this will be an added welcome to your collection. What is significant about Ms. Marvel is that she was the first 'feminist' super-heroine for Marvel comics. DC already had Wonder Woman for years, and although Marvel had characters like Sue Storm (invisible girl) and The Wasp to name a few, most were not feature characters nor were they as headstrong as Ms. Marvel. Ms. Marvel was was one to plow through and ask questions later, not sit on the sidelines when things got too tough and call for some male muscle. This collection of her series focuses on the origins of Ms. Marvel as super-heroine, but also her alter-ego Carol Danvers as she makes her way into the male dominated world of publishing.
