Great quality hard drive camera
Bought this for $39.95. I originally just wanted a charger I lost, but with this price and the quality of this product I have used for over a decade, I decided to buy the extra camera and battery as well. Holds SD card as well as hard drive space.

Good but not great. It really depends on what you need it for
I bought it to use for vacation time memories this summer. It didn't come with a manual so trying to figure out the immediate features was a task. It is much smaller than I expected so the photo displayed actually makes it look larger than it is. The battery that comes with it is only 90 minutes long and dies way too soon, so I had to purchase a 6 hour one for it. The fact that it has a hard disc drive in it compared to inserting tapes in past camcorders is the best thing about it.I bought it to use for vacation time memories this summer. I had one of those MG27U. I love it very much! the only thing is it can take SD memory up to 1G no more 2G or up! Picture is not bad max 640Res. If you want up to 720 res you have to buy another...Those are not too old nor new...Work better than Panasonic 60G ( trouble with hard drive). Overall 20G (4h50)is much like enough than 60G up-because it work fine than bigger not work! I have many new items, the more new the more troubles they have had. They make a lot with automatic machines...are more likely failed! compare to semi-automatic under the control of people QA tested... 1/ Work good,last longer 2/low quality and less memory accepted 3/ affordable prices to buy 4/designer looked good 5/ Files store in the hard drive are hard to converted to dvd ( need softwares...)I had one of those MG27U. The family and I had had a JVC GZ many years ago until we had started to move around a lot and lost parts. That is why we decided to go for the same model. I really love the easy use of the camera, for one that is not technologically savvy, it is very simple to use and has great visual and sound quality. Depending on how much you use it, battery life may feel like it is short but provides a decent run. It is very compact and slight build, easy for on-the-go events. Video memory is also very generous when there is no SIM card, but once a SIM is in place the amount of memory is greatly extended. There are accessories that allow you to watch videos on tv, which is really fun. Again, I can not stress enough of how easy and simple the use of this camera is and its features. This little camera is great. It is extremely easy to use. It's compact size makes it easy to take anywhere. I love the accessories that come with it are fantastic as well. (Two batteries, charger, tripod). And there was no beating the price I got it for.
