Item was originally priced a bit higher than it should have been ( most likely due to how volatile and quickly changing the market is, to be fair) , contacted them and asked if there were any ways to negotiate, they went and verified the pricings, gave an extremely fair appraisal of the item's value, still offered to keep the shipping included in the dropped down price and shipped it fast and well packaged.Completely will be doing business with them again.     Great strings, great value, amazing sound

    Great Acoustic guitar strings, the coating on the string extend the life of the strings. This means more time playing, less time changing your strings. Should last you a minimum of 3 months depending on the amount of playing you do. These strings have a great feel and produce great sounds. I've tried a handful of other brands and these have been my favorite so far. I'm no expert as I've only been playing for 6 months, but in my short experience these are my favorites.

    NOT GENUINE ELIXER STRINGS

    Good day After receiving the strings I fitted them to 2 of my guitars. After a few days I noticed the strings are loosing their bright brass colour and becoming dull. I've been using Elixir strings for years and never seen this happened! As a Forensic Scientist, I decided to examen the unopened strings ( 3 of 3) under a stereo microscope: -There was no nano coating visible on any string; -The string cores were not 6 cornered as it is specified but round with two flat sides; -The thickness of all 6 strings were under the specification it should be. I strongly suggest and suspect that the genuine Elixir strings were removed from its original packaging and replaced with these low quality rings!! I URGENTLY REQUEST GENUINE ELIXIR STRINGS OR A REFUND!!!

    Elixir Acoustic Guitar Strings 11052 Light Nanoweb 80/20 Bronze

    I love this brand, Elixir. The Light 11052 are perfect for any type of acoustic guitar. They hold up with daily practice, heavy strumming, fingerpicking and jamming for months. Fewer string changes, and they hardly ever break even when over tuning. They stand up to high and low moisture environments, are rust proof and easy on the fingers. They sound better than any other name brand of strings I have used in the past. Far and away the best strings on the market.

    I just put these strings on last week. Played in church Sunday great tone and kept tuning well. Hope the life lives up to claim. I play an ovation 1985 collector classic

    Smooth feel, good value.

    Elixir strings last longer than uncoated strings and they don't "squeak". They have a nice smooth feel, though not slick or slippery. I recommend them especially for newer guitars and for all styles of playing. They cost a little more but last longer and sound better - a good value.
