I purchased “Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Hardcover by Taschen (EDT)...”, sold by: Great Book Prices Store, on January 27, 2024. The package was left with a shipping partner on Tuesday, January 30, according to the USPS, who received it on February 6. It was delivered to my address on February 7. It arrived securely packaged and the condition of the item was as described. It would be a pleasure to do business with this seller again in the future.

  • Tabloid. Worst book on Dusty.

Full of Falsehoods as you'd expect a Tabloid read to be. One author, Vicki, was considered a good friend of Dusty's. Turned out she wasn't much of a friend as she is now cashing in on Dusty. Caught her twisting the truth about something Dusty said in the "Full Circle" DVD interview. If she would misrepresent something Dusty said in an interview available to the public, how many other lies is she telling in the book? Neither author appears to have any compassion for Dusty. It's amazing Dusty accomplished all she did under circumstances. She was as popular as the Queen of England throughout the 1960's. Had four television shows and was an international super star. She moved to America and her career declined in the 70's. Hard for anyone to take. She began participating in ...

  • Dusty...the life

This book digs deep into her life, explaining many of her insecurities. More focus could've been on the musical aspect. Still, the book ends sadly with her death just as her career was reviving. If you only know Dusty by her music and wonder about the singer, this book is worth reading.
