Item as described. The packaging, in my honest opinion, was a under-satisfactory and should have been better. The ram arrived in a semi-rigid plastic case inside of a bubble wrap polypak bag, and not a box like brand stores use. This makes the ram very susceptible to bending during transit. The first thing I checked was how rigid the case was WITHOUT the ram, and it did bend. Fortunately, I was lucky the ram worked and perhaps didn't experience any bending. Seller is definitely cutting corners.

Purchase processed very fast and shipped fast. Shipping packaging was simple but safe. Product is exactly as described and works great as an upgrade to my HP Omen 15-dc0088nr. The laptop recognized them and booted without any issues so far. My only regret, I should have contacted the seller to try and get two matching sticks from the same manufacturer. The ones I recevied were just like the picture, one was made in China and the other in the Philipinnes.

    Unbuffered ECC SODIMM for Xeon E3 V5

    It's becoming hard to find memory for Xeon E3 V5 processors through normal channels. SK hynix and Samsung SODIMMs bought on eBay have worked out well so far.
