About this product

Product Information

Based on the contemporary Discovery Channel program, this port of Invictus' 2004 home computer version of Monster Garage presents players with 3,000 (virtual) dollars and a week (of game time), then challenges them to tear down a stock vehicle and build it back up with customized features that meet specific conditions. As in the television show, each challenge is different -- players may be building a large fire truck in one mission and a zippy swamp buggy in the next. Consistent in all missions is an open-ended format, designed to encourage competitors to solve problems creatively and meet challenge conditions with style.<br><br>The game features a total of seven Monster Garage challenges, each allowing just seven in-game days for completion. On the first day of a mission, player's learn of the conditions their customized vehicle must meet and make basic design decisions. The next five days are spent ordering components from a catalog, crafting custom parts, and putting them all together. On the seventh day, players have a chance to add decals and a fresh paint job before they send their Monster vehicle out to the test course. If the vehicle meets all the required conditions a new mission is unlocked, until all seven challenges have been met.

    ONE NIGHT GAME

    This game has great graphics and fun gameplay. But it comes up short with the levels. This is a game you can beat in a long night. The project building is fun, and running your build through a cours is alright, but there just not much to it. This would be best for those who love the show. Theres not much to unlock and very easy to get to the end. Its a good buy for a low price, something for the new gamer in the family. But if you looking for the tough to beat game, this is not it. I have a copy and plan on keeping it. I finished it in one night, and not to eager to run threw it again. GRAPHICS- EXCELLENT GAME PLAY- EXCELLENT STORY LINE- LIKE THE SHOW, EXCELLENT STILL COMES UP SHORT ON BUILDS. BUT UNLOCKING THE VIDEOS AND WATCHING THEM- EXCELLENT.

    MONSTER GARAGE

    I decided to buy it because it looked interesting and my 4 yo son loves trucks! Price was only 50 cents with $ 5.00 shipping, couldn't beat that!! Like it because of the interactive building of the vehicles then complete challenge using what you built.

    good game

    I bought this game because my husband said that he wanted to try out pimp my ride but someone said it was stupid so I thought I would try this game cause its like pimp my ride but you get to race the vehicles. well he got it for christmas and he loves it. I can not get him off of the game.

    my boys love this game and love to play it with friends

    I don't play it,but my children do and they like it. I decided to buy it because I knew my kids would like it and I wanted to suprise them with a little gift for doing all there chores and being good and helping out
