The lens arrived with the lens cap jammed into the barrel of the lens so hard it was impossible to remove. The seller also misrepresented the description. All the original packaging was not there and the lens pouch was missing. The package also reeked of some horrid cologne, probably to cover up the cigarette smoke. After sending the lens back to the seller he refused to give me a refund and I had to open a case with eBay. This seller is not trustworthy and I will not do business with him again.

The buyer misrespresented the condition of the lens which has since been re-listed. There was no damage to the packaging the Seller notes for condition clearly stated that " in original box with instruction manual and warranty card. Foam is missing from the box, no case." There was no smell of colongne and the cap was easily removeable as was the condition when the lens was shipped. The buyer clearly dd not read the listing conditions and seller notes. I stand by my original description.

    good basic studio flash head

    simple and reliable. Easy to fix, often found with sluggish or noisy fans and cable issues. Avoid any unit with exposed cable conductors hanging out of the strain relief entering the side of the can; often the internal wiring has been pulled out of position or strained. DO NOT USE a head with this kind of cable issue- fix it first. Flashtube condition is everything. New tubes cost more than used units. Avoid any unit with a cracked glass flashtube cover, and especially do not use these around models or people. Good flashtubes should be clear without blackened ends. UV coated tubes are generally preferred but uncoated is fine, as long as you don't mix them. An uncoated non-UV tube should be gelled with a pale yellow CC gel when used with UV coated tubes. Good light quality in a softbox ...
