    It's a "whale" of a good CD

    The heavy guitar combined with the lyrics/singing create an awesome listening experience. I turn the volume up full blast in the car and cruise down the highway enjoying this amazing music. These guys are one-of-a-kind and I'm becoming one of their biggest fans. This is my 4th album and I love them all! Check them out for a taste of heavy metal as it is meant to be!!

    An underrated band.

    I heard the song Blood and thunder on Guitar Hero Metallica and decided to buy the cd, i was not disappointed. they have fast riffs and creative lyrics. the only thing that isn't great are the vocals. in some songs they can be somewhat hard to understand. If you are a fan of metal like myself,and are looking for a new band, Mastodon is worth a listen

    Amazing Album

    Great CD. Impressive music. For any fan of progressive metal, Mastodon is a must. Leviathan is incredible as it delves into technical, punishing guitar work. The drum work is insane.

    Sound as big as a whale.

    This is the Moby Dick of Mastodon records. The best one yet in my view. Its powerful and techincal and loud. These guys know just what metal fans want to hear.
