No complaints here! Arrived later than advertised, but that was fine. Good communication by seller. 150-year old book actually arrived in better condition than I expected even though it was delivered inside a thin plastic envelope. For the sale price, I am a very happy customer. Thank you!

  • .....which make for a good book!

The book was purchased due to my interest in how "they" made teenage idols out of ordinary people from the 1950's time period. This was another account of how "they" accomplished that. It is interesting and entertaining reading to learn of their person's struggles, especially since Connie was the first female to undergo the change to super star popularity. The information supplied about her through the years has made me, the reader, come to almost know her personally. That is a strong point about biographies! The downside is due to her being italian and referring to italian phrases with which we Americans are not familiar. A lot of the text is the business end of her career which may or may not be of interest to the reader. However, over all, it is good reading and some portions of the ...
