    Bargain Sci Fi from the 50s

    Hello, I bought this because I wanted the Stranger from Venus with Patricia Neal and The Cosmic Man. Both are available via streaming but I don't want my life revolving around a Network cable. They are older and deal with a benevolent stranger visiting us. Why I like those movies, I am not sure. Perhaps it is because they are a reminder of the universal good. We need reminders of that. The Flying Saucer is more suspense with scenic views of Alaska. I think if you grew up watching old black and white sci fi, you will like it. I do. Often there was little money for affects so the actors had to carry everything and inspire your imagination.

    Two Good Movies Out Of Three

    We liked all of the movies except for "The Flying Saucer". That movie wasn't even about an extraterrestrial craft. It was about a man made aircraft which appeared to be the reason for UFO's. Bad acting and a poor storyline for that movie. The other two flicks were very good.

    Not a half bad set

    From what I can remember these movies are low budget. But worth killing time to see. I wouldn't say they were great. Thats why I gave it an average rating. But in all and all they sre a time killer when theres nothing else to watch and nothing else to do.

    Three classic Sci-fi b-movies from the 1950s

    You can't go wrong with this 3 DVD box set with classic sci-fi movies from the 1950s. Sure they are b-movies but they are still very watchable and enjoyable I love this box set. If you'd like classic sci-fi movies from the 1950s you are going to love this box set.
