    Samsung Digimax Point & Shoot Cameras

    The Samsung Digimax series of point and shoot cameras are cheap, versatile, easy to use cameras for the masses. The D53 model provides enough pixel details to make an 8" X 10" photo, but still low enough to share photos online. The cameras are easy to use, almost all pictures turn out fine in auto mode. The controls are easy to use with little symbols to remind you of the function. It's a pretty sturdy little camera that has survived a 3-5' drop many times without damage. There's even a waterproof case made for it for outdoor, or under water. I don't like the placement of the battery door on the right side bottom under the shutter button. It's very easy to open the door when taking the picture, which shuts off the camera and cancels the shot. The only other complaint with this camera is ...

    Good camera for the money

    Though there are cameras that can take far larger and sharper photos, I have found that a 5 meg camera suits my needs just fine. This camera is simple to use, and with my memory card reader downloading photos is quick and easy. I have many electronics that have options I will never use even though I paid for them. A camera like this may have a few, but for the price can easily be sacrificed.

    Samsung Digimax D53 - Cheap Camera, long life

    Camera is dependable. Owned same one previously and has lasted for 5+ years. I needed a new Camera for a decent price, so I decided to stick with the same brand. Item gets the job done and then-some. Camera can hold up to 1000+ photos or more with out a memory card if pictures are sized right, and the pictures still come out enormous in size. Camera can also take video clips which some can last up to an hour. The zoom quality is impressive for the price on it, though it is not in HD so pixels will be obvious depending on what is being zoomed on. It's Light weight and can be taken any where with you. If you don't want to spend an arm or a leg on a decent camera that gets the job done, this is what's #1 in the book.

    Samsung Digimax D53 5.1 Megapixel Used Camera

    I have purchased several of these used. This is an excellent little camera. Pictures are great, easy to learn how to use, easy to operate, easy to get the pictures out of the camera and into the computer. I have not been able to find a users manual on line though. However, I was able to purchase a used one that had a users manual with it.
