With THE CON, singer/songwriter-guitarist identical twins Tegan and Sara Quin build on their break-through success of 2004's SO JEALOUS. Eighteen months of touring followed, including shows with the Killers. At the same time, their track "Walking with a Ghost" was ubiquitous and was covered by the White Stripes. THE CON, co-produced by Death Cab for Cutie's Chris Walla, marks the most mature effort to date in the rising career of Tegan and Sara.

This sellers "two day" shipping policy is baloney - it took a over five days and repeated emails before this item shipped. I almost thought I would have to request a refund from eBay. That being said, when it did ship, it was nicely packaged and arrived undamaged. I would not buy from this person again because they don't honor their own policies! I can only leave positive feedback because 1) the item DID arrive, and 2) it was as described. The rest wasn't a great experience.

I dislike complaining, but I'm unhappy with this transaction. The deck/book set, described as "like new," was mailed in such a flimsy envelope that it arrived twisted out of shape, to the point where one of the cards was stuck to exposed glue inside. I wrote to the seller about the situation but received no response. I didn't ask for a return because the price wasn't high, but even at this price I expect more care in packaging. (I have ordered other items from this seller that arrived intact.)

    T & S - The Con

    The new album is great but not my favorite. This album is very different from their older ones. It sounds very "Indie" with more keyboards then more folk guitars and riffs. Best tracks are Relief next to me, The Con and Nineteen. This album sounds like both of them put in a little part of their life in each song. And if you see them live they will play the whole new album for you but play all the tracks in backwards order and you will also get a little story about each song and what they mean. They are too cute* Sara

    Love Tegan and Sara! This is one of the key album for them and would recommend it 100%

    Love this Album! Tegan and Sara put so much in the career they've built and the music they produce. I recommend getting the Con special edition with the DVD!

    These girls are good

    This is a great CD from Tegan and Sara. These girls just keep getting better and better. If you're not already on the bandwagon, take a seat next to the rest of us!
