Keeps Mama happy for a fraction of the cost of a salon perm
Makes good, long-lasting curls when used as directed. I have been using this product for years on my elderly mother's 100%-gray hair with excellent results. As with any perm, the end results depend on the quality of the roll-up, use of the correct rods, and proper processing time. Get those factors right and this product will do the job nicely.

Some do-it-yourself perms are not easily found in stores or available, they run out of them. Maybe due to the fact there aren't many on the shelf in the first place. I don't enjoy giving myself a perm, as it's time consuming. But when it's over and done, I feel the fullness in my hair and have to put it up less frequently during the first couple months after having the perm. Too bad there isn't a foam spray-on solution. I had absolutely wrecked my hair with another home perm brand, and after waiting 2 weeks, I repermed with this kit. The results were perfect - exactly what I'd wanted in the first place! It comes with pre-conditioner, curling lotion, neutralizer, and leave-in conditioner, as well as a cotton wrap, and papers. Really great deal for the price!
