    Great history lesson on small town in the west.

    Tells what life was like for a rural black family growing up in a small town in Montana. Then what he did once he left and then eventually returned. I knew Taylor Gordon after he moved back and just knew of him as a nice old man until I read this book.

    Everyone should read this book...

    I think this is a great book. My family knew Mr. Gordon personally when I was a young girl growing up in White Sulphur Springs, MT. I was always fascinated about his earlier career and life and this book opened that door for me.
